booking and transaction information; and
website usage and technical information, such as browser, device and interaction data, where collected through cookies or analytics.
We only ask for information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
2. How we use your information
We may use your personal information to:
respond to enquiries;
provide services you have requested or purchased;

communicate with you about an enquiry, service or booking;
send newsletters, insights or marketing communications where we have an appropriate lawful basis;

We do not sell your personal information.
3. Our lawful bases for processing
Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal information.
Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on:
Contract
Processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to provide a service you have requested or purchased.
Consent
You have actively given us permission to process your information for a particular purpose, for example when choosing to join our mailing list.
Legitimate interests
Processing is reasonably necessary to operate and improve our business, respond to enquiries, maintain appropriate records or protect our services and intellectual property, provided those interests do not override your rights and interests.
Legal obligation
Processing is necessary for us to comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax or regulatory requirements.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
4. Email marketing
Joining The Inclusive Wedding Company mailing list is voluntary.
Completing an assessment, making an enquiry or purchasing a service does not automatically subscribe you to general marketing communications unless you have separately chosen to receive them or another lawful basis applies.
We currently use MailerLite to help manage mailing-list subscriptions and email communications.
Every marketing email will provide an option to unsubscribe.
You may also contact us directly if you wish to change your marketing preferences.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary communications relating to an enquiry, booking, purchase or service you have requested.
5. Supplier Inclusion Score™
When you complete our Supplier Inclusion Score™, we may collect information required to calculate, provide and communicate your result.
Where you separately choose to receive further communications, your contact information may also be added to the appropriate mailing list or email sequence.
Your marketing preference will be handled in accordance with the choice presented to you when you submit your information.
Information provided through the Supplier Inclusion Score™ may also be used in an aggregated or anonymised form to understand broad patterns and improve our services.
We will not intentionally identify an individual or business in published aggregated findings without appropriate permission.
6. Enquiries, bookings and paid services
When you contact us or book or purchase a service, we may collect information necessary to:
understand your enquiry or requirements;
communicate with you;
administer your booking;
process or record payment;
deliver the agreed service; and
maintain appropriate business, contractual and financial records.
This includes bookings for services such as the Supplier Inclusion Review.
Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not normally receive or store your complete payment card details.
Booking and scheduling may also be handled through third-party platforms.
Those providers may process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

We use trusted third-party services to help operate The Inclusive Wedding Company.
These may include providers of:
website hosting and website forms;

Some of the technology providers we use may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards should be used where required by UK data protection law.
These may include recognised adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards.
9. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including contractual, accounting, tax and legal requirements.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
Marketing information may be retained while you remain subscribed.
If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, we may retain limited information where necessary to ensure we continue to respect your preference.
